Safety
Jambette’s approach to equipment safety extends well beyond standards and duties. In fact, since the company was founded, seven years before the creation of the Canadian standard on children’s playspaces and equipment, Jambette was playing a pioneering role and applying safety standards rarely seen in the industry.
As a result of this priority to be at the forefront of children’s safety, in 2000, Jambette became the first Canadian company to hold IPEMA certification, the highest accreditation in children’s outdoor playground safety in North America.
Jambette products thus meet both the Canadian standard, CAN/CSA-Z614, and the American standard, ASTM F1487.
In 2005, Jambette sat on the Ministère de la Famille committee for implementing playground safety regulations at child care centres in Quebec.
No other playground equipment company cares as much about the safety of its products as Jambette, and this is the way it has been since the company’s beginning.
